you don't have to get into a competitive mode wrt pithy uru writing etc.
you already have the innate sensitivity - expressed deeply in some of your blogs (as well as comments) - and of course having Role Models helps in honing one's skills - provided its not a "ROLL MODEL" (as the downside of blogging is MAS - Mutual Admiration Societies which Rock n Roll wherein blogging is used as a synonym of 'Instant Messenger Service'..)
so take care & God Bless you

dear sundeep,
thanks, its rarely that cassandra blogs get such detailed replies.Indeed ,there is a lot that we have achieved yet the road is very long and to me it seems that a vast majority is being left out .No country can hope to become a great nation unless it is inclusive in its progress to all its citizens.hoping to hear more from you,
regards

What a thought provoking essay! Yes, its time to take stock and really analyze waht we have achieved and what more we could have achieved in the intervening 62 years. While we have actually achieved a lot, yet a great many things remian to be achieved. First and foremost, I would like to see the reservation policy go. Sixty years of the policy have completely failed to do anything for the downtrodden. They are still discriminated against, they are still down in the dumps despite the policy. The few who managed to take advantage of this policy did not do anything for their class. Second, I wish we could do away with the burden of subsidies as you rightly pointed out. Well, there's so many things to correct. More on that later.
