I remember a girl with beautiful brown eyes,
In a black skirt and her Daddy's green shirt,
As she entered the class with flowing black hair,
I said to myself-- now , we have something there!
So I walked the gauntlet,said Hi I'm "Q",
Pat came the reply,then why don't you get in one too!
Oh my God,looks and biting wit,
Is she really be gonna worth it?
To cut a long tale short,
Slowly and steadily the friendship grew,
From crowded conversations to a shared cup of Bru,
One day she agreed to sit on my fiery steed,
Wind screaming,my eyes streaming and the heart dreaming,
After interminable small talk,
In sheer desperation I told her,
You know Kay.. I love you,
Bam came the answer ,
Thats OK,I love myself too(hearty laughter followed from her!)
What I said is better left unsaid!
Wonder of wonders, a few months later she said Yes!!
A lot of water has flown ,
We both are fairly full grown,
But you know "womanslove" when I saw the photo you pasted,
I could only picture her as she walked into my heart,
In a black skirt and her daddy's green shirt!!
